With effect from 16th September 2006, IDD0088 service will be upgraded. Besides allowing you to make unlimited IDD calls to 23 designated destinations1 at a fixed monthly fee, you may now use IDD0088 service for calling to other destinations2 on a per-minute-rate basis.
Revision of Charge and $10 Rebate Offered
Effective from the same date, the monthly service fee of "IDD0088 Unlimited Plan" will be adjusted from $38 to $483 . The adjusted amount of $104 will be rebated to you for using IDD0088 service to call to areas outside 23 designated destinations or using IDD0080 service to call to any destinations. 1. 23 designated destinations include fixed line and mobile of China, USA, Canada, Singapore; and fixed line of UK, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
2. Other destinations include destinations outside the 23 designated destinations. For enquiry on the per minute IDD rate, please call 2180 0088.
3. Service fee will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis in case for pre-paid service fee and the adjustment will be included in the next invoice. The current 3-month advance payment method remains unchanged.
4. The $10 rebate can be used to settle charges of 0088 calls to areas outside the 23 designated destinations or 0080 calls to all destinations. Customer will be entitled to $10 rebate per month until 31 December 2006. The $10 rebate will be calculated on pro-rata basis in case of an incomplete month. Unused rebate amount in the current month will be forfeited and cannot be carried forward to next month.
