What kind of voice features value added services are included in the HGC residential telephone line services?
HGC offers 3 types of monthly plan to customers,with different voice features value added services:
i)Standard Plan:Basic telephone line.
ii)Premium Plan:Basic telephone phone line, with 3 voice features value added services (caller number display, Call waiting and Call forwarding)
iii)Deluxe Plan:Basic telephone phone line,with 10 voice features value added services (Call waiting,Call forwarding, Remote call forwarding, Do-not-disturb,Appointment service,Abbreviated dialing,Conference calling,Caller number display,Duplex ringing and Block-the-Blocker)
All services plan customers can also enjoy HGC IDD0080 and free IDD security service.

How can customer register the services ?
Upon confirmation that the address for installation is within HGC network coverage, customers can apply our services through sales hotline 1226 or website (www.hgc.com.hk); or register through our roadshow or salesman at various housing estates.

What information needs to provide upon registration?
Customers are required to provide the following information where applicable:
i)For customers who wish to register for a new number, customers are required to complete the "Residential Telephone Line Service Sales Agreement" accompanying with copy of the ID card for verification. For those who register through hotline,customers shall provide their personal information to our staff during the hotline call and the sales agreement will be completed by our staff on behalf of customers.
ii)For customers who wish to join HGC with their current number, besides completing the "Residential Telephone Line Service Sales Agreement", customers are required to complete the "Notification of Services Disconnection" to verify the cancellation of current service provider and the transfer of number to HGC.In order to complete the registration,customers are also required to provide a statement of current service provider that dated within the latest 3 months.

How long does it take to apply HGC residential telephone services?
The installation date shall depends on telephone lines structure of the relevant building on which the residential telephone line services is to be installed as well as the rental arrangement or procurement of the specific circuit.

After successful subscription, does subscriber bear the contact alone?
All HGC residential telephone line subscribers enter into sales agreements with HGC for a term of not less than 12 months ¡V duration of contract term and variety of the terms therein will be affected by the plan/special offer at the relevant time.
The "Residential Telephone Line Sales Agreement" not only is a record of the service plan chosen by customers,but it is also a confirmation of the mutual agreement (between subscriber and HGC) to perform their respective obligations to maintain the stability of HGC telephone line services and charges during the contract term, thus the contract is mutual rather than borne by subscribers alone.

If Customer would like to terminate the service during the provision of services, what will be the procedures and charges involved?
HGC would not wish to terminate the contract with customer,but in the event that customer insists on termination,customer should complete the "Telephone Service Termination Form" as a written notice to HGC for the termination,with one month notice in advance.In the event of termination by customer of contract with unexpired contract term,customer shall be required to pay for charges for the remaining unexpired contract term in order to compensate HGC.

If customer terminates the contact before installation is completed, what will be the procedures and charges involved?
If customer wishes to cancel the service under the contract before installation is completed (based on reason not due to failure of providing services by HGC),customer shall give a notice for termination in writing.Nevertheless,since HGC will start to prepare for installation arrangement promptly after the contract is signed,according to the terms of the contract,customer is required to pay HK$500 for part of the administration cost incurred by HGC in relation thereto.

How and when to pay the monthly bill?
Residential telephone line service bill will be distributed every 3 months as prepayment.If customers register the autopay services,fee will be transfer directly on the last payment date from the bank account every month.
Customers could choose different payment options:By cash or credit card (for payment over HK$200) in Watson's Stores;ATM machine or PPS (HGC Merchant Code: 86);or by crossed cheque mailed to P.O. Box 9322 General Post Office Hong Kong together with the bill;or by On-line payment methods with specific bank account or credit card account.For details, please visit payment method.

What kind of the services HGC IDD0080 offers?
HGC IDD0080 offers registered customers the IDD0080/0082 service to dial and fax to all destinations around the world.Besides the direct dial IDD service,HGC also provides the International Calling Card,International Call Forward and Easytalk Service for customers to apply.In addition, customers would also register the 'IDD0088 Unlimited Plan' via their 'HGC residential fixed line' or personal mobile number enjoy unlimited calls to the 23 designated destinations with monthly fee of $48 only.It is suitable for frequent and high usage customers on IDD service.
